IDS 180 Computer Applications 3 Credit(s) An overview of computer applications including the use of word processing, spreadsheet, data base, and internet technologies. Students will learn to operate and understand computer hardware, and develop materials for both academic and personal through software. The role of computers in society and related social issues will be discussed. Three lecture hours per week and laboratory work outside of class. This course satisfies the Computer Literacy core requirement.
