NUR 314 Reproductive Health and Maternity Nursing 4.5 Credit(s) This course will examine the reproductive health needs of adults and care of the normal newborn. Emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse in reproductive health promotion, gynecologic, antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care. Issues surrounding reproductive health care, which is holistic, inclusive, and individualized will be explored.
Six lecture hours and eight clinical hours per week for one quarter.
Prerequisites: NUR320 and NUR370
