This course is designed to provide the student with an understanding of principles and practices specifically related to sport facility and event management. Predominant areas of focus will include facility design, funding, financial impact, trends, risk management, crowd management, and event planning, staffing, and organization. Three lecture hours per week. Major elective. Required for Sport Management and Recreation Management Concentrations. Recommended for Senior year.
