FIN 351 Fundamentals of Financial Planning 3 Credit(s) The course will provide an overview of the profession and process of Personal Financial Planning. The course will expose students to the four key personal financial planning areas of estate, risk management, investments and financial independence while integrating tax planning strategies. The course will also focus on the legal/ethical aspects of financial planning process. The course will use a running case study on personal financial planning to demonstrate competency. Three lecture hours per week plus work outside of class.
