ATR 718 - Clinical Experience I3 Credit(s) Clinical Experience I focuses on the application of functional anatomy, principles of athletic training, taping, bracing, padding, protective equipment, neurological examination, clinical examination of the lower extremity, and emergency care. Students will complete a total of 240 hours. This includes 225 clinical experience hours under the direct supervision of an approved clinical preceptor. In addition, 15 classroom hours will be used to facilitate critical thinking and assess skills related to clinical practice. This course is open to and required of students enrolled in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program.
Pre-requisites: ATR 700 , ATR 702 , ATR 704 , ATR 706 , ATR 708 .
Co-requisites: ATR 710 , ATR 714 , ATR 716 , ATR 806 .
