ATR 810 - Clinical Experience III

2 Credit(s) This course emphasizes the clinical application of knowledge and skills obtained in the classroom to patient care under the supervision of a preceptor. Emphasis is placed on advancing previously learned patient care skills and developing the comprehensive patient-care plan using therapeutic interventions, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. In addition to supervised clinical experience hours, 30 classroom hours will be used to facilitate critical thinking and assess patient care skills. Limited to students enrolled in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program.
