Additional Information and Notes
Note: If a course is used to satisfy two or more requirements, (for example, a support course and a distribution elective), the credits are counted in only one place. Using a course to satisfy more than one requirement does not reduce the total credits required for graduation. † Art major Foundation Requirements. The following courses must be completed in the student’s first year in the Art Department: ART 101 , ART 102 , and ART 203 . ART 303 must be completed in the student’s second year. This applies to transfer students as well. + Students concentrating in Art History must select 4 of the 8 following courses: ART 236 , ART 333A , ART 334A , ART 335 , ART 336 , ART 338 , ART 402 , and ART 432 . Since ART 333A , ART 334A , ART 335 , ART 336 , ART 338 , ART 402 and ART 432 are not taught every year, it is imperative that students sign up for these courses at the time they are offered. Exceptions in the timing of courses will be made for transfer students. Total minimum credits for graduation: 120
