This major requires a primary major in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.  Students interested in Licensure as Art Specialists can change majors to Art with a concentration in Art Education PreK-8.  See flowsheet for course requirements.

✝✝  This is contingent upon completion of a B.S. in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood
          or Elementary Education.

     +   A 300 level course in Crafts, Ceramics, Metals, or Sculpture

     ‡   Requires observation hours in an elementary art classroom

    ✝  For Fall semesters, may be substituted for studio or art history elective or
          EDU 338A with the consent of the department chairperson.

Students who choose to leave the education major but wish to complete an Art major must choose an alternative Art + Design flowsheet.
