Middle School Education, Humanities - Initial License

Purpose
This program is designed for individuals seeking an initial license and/or training in middle school humanities education but not a degree.
Prerequisites
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree
Coursework in adolescent psychology
A passing score on the Communication and Literacy Skills portion of the MTEL.

Education Courses (12 credits)
Content Based Methods Courses* (9 credits)
Practicum and Seminar (6 credits)
Additional Information and Notes
*Additional History/English courses may be required to meet standards.
**The Middle School Humanities MTEL must be passed prior to the practicum and seminar.
