Program Objective
We are excited to announce a new Master of Science degree in behavior analysis. We are recruiting students to matriculate in fall 2015. During the 2014-2015 academic year, you can complete up to nine credits before matriculating. The post-bachelor’s applied behavior analysis program is also an option for students who have experience in the field and plan to apply to the MS program. Both of these options allow you to sample the courses and find out more about the program.
The psychology department at Salem State University also offers several other options for studying behavior analysis at the graduate level. The following links take you to information related to behavior analysis courses. All of our programs include the relevant course sequences that have been approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to meet the coursework requirements for eligibility to apply to the BACB for examinations related to Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA, bachelor’s degree mandatory) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, master’s degree mandatory). Students applying to the BACB are expected to meet additional requirements and should consult with the BACB directly concerning eligibility.
