Program Description:

The graduate certificate in public policy and administration seeks to equip students to engage effectively in the policy process and public management. The program has a particular focus on public service, community-based collaboration and social justice that crosses disciplinary boundaries.

Students who are already enrolled in or have successfully completed any of the above courses may apply these courses toward the graduate certificate program to achieve advanced standing. Students who complete courses in the Public Policy and Administration graduate certificate program may apply these courses to further graduate studies with the approval of the graduate program that they seek to enter. Any application of courses previously taken to the certificate, or any application of certificate courses to a further degree program are subject to the graduate academic policies governing the age and minimum grade requirements of all courses taken prior to entering a graduate program.
