The graduate certificate in public policy and administration seeks to equip students to engage effectively in the policy process and public management. The program has a particular focus on public service, community-based collaboration and social justice that crosses disciplinary boundaries.
*With the approval of the program coordinator, students may substitute other relevant elective courses from any discipline including courses taken for an SSU graduate degree program. For example, students interested in social work policy could substitute two SWK policy courses in place of MGT780 and POL900/POL920.
++These options are subject to the availability of a faculty supervisor.
