OCT 402 Clinical Reasoning & Professional Judgement 2 Credit(s) This course will explore the components of clinical reasoning and students will develop an appreciation and understanding of the process involved in making sound and ethical client-care decisions related to occupational therapy practice. Contributions made by a variety of theorists will be addressed with emphasis placed on formulating skills that enable students to comprehend vital connections interwoven with the professional decision-making process and in one’s own professional development. Two lecture hours per week. Limited to OCT majors. Prerequisite: OCT400 or OCT 400N . Co-requisite: OCT 403 .
