BUS 842 - International Business Law3 Credit(s) This course examines the impact of law on international business transactions. It prepares business people to identify the legal issues that arise when structuring business transactions. Topics covered include trade, licensing and investment, carriage of goods and liability, sales contracts, the protection of intellectual property, as well as cultural and ethical issues in international business. Students may be assigned to attend outside lectures. The course emphasizes critical analysis and oral argument.
Prerequisite: BUS 802 or BUS 840 .
