MCO 355 Event Planning for Public Relations 3 Credit(s) This course focuses on the public relations function of designing and managing events to successfully create and sustain vibrant relationships with key publics while effectively fulfilling an organization’s communication and relationship goals. The course examines how events can convey organizational values, strengthen reputations, reinforce brand messaging and generate key public awareness, understanding, interest, involvement and support. Three lecture hours per week.
