POL 308 Urban Policy

This course explores a wide range of public policy options for large and small cities in the United States, with a particular focus on gateway cities in Massachusetts. Using equity frameworks, we will examine contemporary policies in urban areas on issues such as housing, community development, economic development, public safety, environmental justice, transportation, education, health, and immigration. Three lecture hours per week.
