Purpose
This course of study provides a flexible program of higher education through which students may earn, on a part-time basis, a Master of Science Degree with a major in nursing. Courses are offered primarily in the evening hours and are planned so that the part-time student can complete the program in three to three and one-half years.
Prerequisites
Baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing from an NLN accredited program or a Baccalaureate degree in another field from an accredited college or university and satisfactory performance on NLN Comprehensive Baccalaureate Achievement Test. Current license to practice nursing in Massachusetts. Satisfactory performance on the Graduate Record Examination or Miller Analogies Test. Successful completion of a course in Basic Statistics. A minimum of one year’s experience as a registered nurse is required.
Acceptance and matriculation into the MSN program is required prior to enrollment in any MSN courses.
